Knit Kit Pattern #4 – Split Symmetry Scarf

This is the fourth and final design to be included within my hand knitting kit collection. The sample is knit using Madelinetosh Merino Light in colorway “Paper”.

Triangular bands of cables are pattern blocked within the interrupted rib stitch fabric of this scarf. When the tips lay parallel a geometric symmetry reveals a larger triangle shape. Twisted stitches are knit throughout, adding to this piece’s structural appeal. I designed this to act as the perfect transitional Fall accessory. Wear it open and revel in the delight of the joining patterns, or wrap it once around your neck when chillier days call.

The following photographs are taken from @florence_spurling_studio Instagram, illustrating the design process.

Final pattern available soon!
